Caterpillar is seeking a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Coordinator in the Resource Industries Tracked Products Division. You will create a monthly forecast, analyze data, and drive forecast accuracy while aligning with the financial plan.

Qualifications

• Forecasting: experience gathering, interpreting, and analyzing demand data for weekly, monthly, quarterly forecasting.
• Data gathering & analysis: collect, synthesize, and evaluate information from multiple sources for decisions.
• Analytical thinking: identify discrepancies, assess risks, determine root causes, and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Accuracy and attention to detail: precision in managing large volumes of detailed information.
• Collaboration: build strong working relationships across functions to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Create a monthly product group forecast based on supply/demand changes; identify risks and opportunities.
• Provide supporting facts, data and statistics for the forecast and related changes.
• Use enterprise tools to input and adjust shipment plans and the product group forecast; update plan based on monthly results.
• Perform data analysis for key performance metrics and variance root causes.
• Determine and report results for various S&OP metrics.
• Align the product group forecast to the financial business plan.
