Job summary

Mars Incorporated is seeking a Manager, S&OE to balance demand, supply capabilities, and inventory health across MS&OE processes. You will influence decisions affecting service, profitability, and operational excellence through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.

The role partners with Demand Planning, Customer Service, Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Planning to identify risks, address constraints, and drive actions to improve performance while reducing write-offs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Statistics, Data Science, or Information Management.
• 2-5 years of experience in Demand Planning, IBP, or related Supply Chain function within a CPG environment.
• Experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics & Distribution, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Consulting.

Responsibilities

• Manage 0-13 week operational process, including incremental sales requests, supply challenges, allocations and weekly meetings.
• Act as liaison between one demand team and customer service.
• Review readiness for key customer programs.
• Lead monthly cross-functional finished goods write-off meetings.
• Lead allocation process on constrained lines.
• Drive decisions on tension points across the operating plan.
• Conduct FG product age analysis across all KNA categories.
• Identify at-risk inventory and communicate with supply chain teams.
• Determine root causes of aging and at-risk inventory using production, shipment, and consumption data.
• Communicate product write-off reduction plans cross-functionally.
• Define and track FG write-off cost avoidance and values versus previous years.
• Provide external benchmarking of FG write-off performance versus peers.
• Deep dive into analytics from category to SKU level.
• Make decisions based on end-to-end view of the business.
