Job summary

Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA) seeks a Director of Real-World Evidence and Implementation Science Research to build and lead an observational research program across its nationwide network of practices.

This leader will forge sponsor partnerships, oversee study design and data utilization, drive scalable processes, ensure methodological quality, and align research with CVAUSA’s quality and growth goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field with demonstrated experience developing research programs; terminal degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in real-world evidence, observational/epidemiologic research, or health outcomes research.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to translate between scientific, operational, and commercial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operationalize RWE and implementation science research across the CVAUSA network.
• Lead end-to-end research study design, feasibility, IRB submission, activation, and execution.
• Foster partnerships with sponsors and internal stakeholders to translate questions into research concepts and protocols.
• Build scalable processes, SOPs, and governance for a growing observational research program.
• Oversee business development activities, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
