• Current Ohio RVT license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Strong technical and patient-care skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• The ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• An interest in continuing education and professional growth.
• Experience with large animals is welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory testing, and diagnostic imaging.
• Monitor anesthesia and support patients throughout surgical recovery.
• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
• Prepare and maintain surgical, treatment, and examination areas.
• Educate clients about medications, preventive care, and follow-up instructions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Support efficient patient flow and collaborate with the entire hospital team.
• Help create a compassionate and positive experience for every client and patient.
