Wooster Animal Clinic in Northeastern Ohio is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced 2.5-doctor practice. You will perform triage, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, radiography, and nursing care for our diverse patient load.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RVT license to practice in Ohio
• 1+ year professional experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and client communication skills
• Knowledge of veterinary procedures, hospital operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle exposure to hazards

Responsibilities

• Animal restraint and triage of incoming patients
• Collection and analysis of lab samples
• Diagnostic imaging including radiography/dental radiography
• Nursing care of medical and hospitalized patients
• Administration of medications and anesthesia monitoring
• Surgical preparation and assistance and post-operative care
• Effective communication of treatment plans with clients
