Qualifications

Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure required by state.

Responsibilities

Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services, wellness plans, and preventive care.
Manage flow of clients and pets to ensure top client care and productivity of the veterinary team.
Provide professional, efficient service, educate clients about pet health, and prepare procedures.
Perform veterinary technician appointments under veterinarian supervision where permitted by state law.
Enter pet information and history in the computer, ensure prompt service for clients.
Dispense prescription items as directed, sell retail products and schedule follow-ups.
Maintain accurate financial balances and follow opening/closing procedures.
Support veterinarian and team to maximize productivity and provide quality care.
