Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety of animals.
• Administer medications as directed by the veterinarian, including oral, topical, and injectable medications.
• Perform routine animal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and exercising animals.
• Handle animals safely and humanely during examinations and treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sanitizing equipment and work areas.
• Monitor animal behavior and health status, reporting any changes to the veterinary team.
• Assist with client communication, providing information on pet care, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions.
• Support veterinary technicians in performing diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Participate in training sessions for new staff members or interns as needed.
