Westminster Veterinary Group is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our busy, multi-species hospital in Westminster, CA. You will work alongside DVMs to provide exceptional patient care, manage routine procedures, and help our hospital run efficiently.

Active RVT/CVT/LVT certification is required, with shifts primarily on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth are offered in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology school or alternative route
• RVT, LVT, or CVT certification (or equivalent) required
• 1+ years of experience as an RVT, including intern assignment position
• Proficient computer skills for maintaining electronic medical records

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams, administer treatments, and diagnostic procedures; assist veterinarians with surgeries; monitor anesthesia; ensure patient recovery under supervision
• Triages patients by gathering medical histories and assessing immediate needs; safely handle and restrain animals
• Update clients on patient status and explain treatment plans under veterinarian direction; collaborate with hospital team
• Maintain accurate medical records and logs, including shift handoff updates and controlled drug logs
• Assist in training new employees and support cross-department coordination to ensure smooth hospital operations
