Qualifications

• RVT preferred; Senior Veterinary Assistant will be considered.
• 2+ years of clinical experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills critical for client interactions.
• Must maintain VACSP; obtain within 60 days if not already licensed; CA-RVT license waives this requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during treatments and procedures.
• Monitor critically ill or injured patients closely.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure around-the-clock care and treatment coordination.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures such as bloodwork and imaging.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Monitor and maintain medical equipment.
• Communicate with pet owners regarding patient updates and treatment plans.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
