Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Cheyenne, WY, seeks a RVA Field Technician 4 to lead field technicians in maintaining the RVA network at F.E. Warren AFB and to perform critical repair actions on RVA equipment at field sites or over the network.

The role requires safety leadership and collaboration with the NOC and government points of contact. The position demands a high school diploma with 6 years of relevant experience, leadership ability, and the capability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience training personnel with unique system hardware.
• Proficiency in technical problem solving, to include participating in root cause analysis, solution development, implementation, and monitoring.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment(up to 40 lbs) and work in varied environmental conditions.
• Current drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Advanced level troubleshooting and problem analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental Health & Safety standards.
• Provide train-the trainer informal, on-call, user-level training.
• Strict adherence with maintenance manuals and all approved drawings.
• Safe vehicle and equipment operation.
• Ability to obtain Commercial Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain Climb certification.
• Mission planning, configuration management and accurate documentation.
• Soldering, Cat 5 cabling/termination and fiberoptic repairs.
• Maintain Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certification.
• Conduct on-site testing activities to verify functionality.
