Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Minot, ND seeks RVA CLS Field Technician 4 to lead field technicians in maintaining RVA network at Minot AFB. You’ll supervise, ensure safety and security, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with NOC and government POCs.

The role requires a 5/40 schedule, ability to climb, work at heights, and travel. Preferred candidates hold a Secret clearance and are capable of performing maintenance, soldering and cabling tasks. OC/ safety compliance emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 years relevant experience.
• 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience training personnel with unique system hardware.
• Proficiency in technical problem solving, including root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Advanced level troubleshooting and problem analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental Health & Safety standards.
• Provide train-the trainer informal, on-call, user-level training.
• Strict adherence with maintenance manuals and all approved drawings.
• Safe vehicle and equipment operation.
• Ability to obtain Commercial Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain Climb certification.
• Mission planning, configuration management and accurate documentation.
• Soldering, Cat 5 cabling/termination and fiberoptic repairs.
• Maintain CPR and first aid certification.
• Conduct on-site testing activities to verify functionality.
