Job summary

Bish’s RV is a leading family-owned RV dealer in the United States. We are seeking an entry-level RV Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair RVs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems under the guidance of experienced technicians and service managers.

You will develop your skills through on-the-job training, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused service team.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn RV systems.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Reliable, positive attitude and commitment to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Inspect units for customer sales.
• Learn and execute Get Ready and customer orientation.
• Assist with inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, propane, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Help with installation of accessories and aftermarket parts.
• Document completed work accurately and assist with service records.
• Follow safety standards and company procedures while using power tools and hazardous materials.
• Communicate progress or issues with repairs to team and supervisors.
• Attend training sessions and stay updated on RV systems and service practices.

Key Objectives

• Contribute to a high-performing service team by being dependent and meeting service timelines
• Develop technical knowledge in RV systems, tools, diagnostics, and repairs through on-the-job training
• Support customer satisfaction by ensuring quality work, timely service, and a helpful attitude

• The ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of time
• The ability to lift anywhere from 25 to 50 lbs with an assistive device
• Work in environments that include heat, cold, dust, and loud noises
• Flexibility with work schedules; including Saturdays (we are always closed on Sundays)
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Ability to pass a background and drug test
• Demonstrate alignment with the Company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interactions
