Job summary

Bish’s RV, Inc. is seeking an entry-level RV Technician to join our service team and grow hands-on in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing RVs. You will work under experienced technicians to develop skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.

• Ability to follow directions and perform hands-on diagnostics and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect units for customer sales.
• Learn and execute a Get Ready and customer orientation.
• Assist with inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, propane, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Help with the installation of accessories and aftermarket parts.
• Document completed work accurately and assist with service records.
• Follow all safety standards and company procedures while working with power tools and hazardous materials.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding progress or issues with repairs.
• Attend training sessions and stay updated on RV systems and service practices.

Key Objectives

• Contribute to a high-performing service team by being dependent and meeting service timelines
• Develop technical knowledge in RV systems, tools, diagnostics, and repairs through on-the-job training
• Support customer satisfaction by ensuring quality work, timely service, and a helpful attitude

What You’ll Bring

• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
• A positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to quality work
• Have a set of personal tools
• The ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of time
• The ability to lift anywhere from 25 to 50 lbs with an assistive device
• Work in environments that include heat, cold, dust, and loud noises
• Flexibility with work schedules; including Saturdays (we are always closed on Sundays)
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Ability to pass a background and drug test
• Demonstrate alignment with the Company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interactions
