As an RV Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and inspecting RV units for proper functionality for a customer. The ideal candidate is confident working with their hands, has a background in car maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, or general contracting, and has experience in repair diagnostics or 2+ years in a technical field or RV industry. Bish’s RV offers on-the-job training and certifications if there is less than one year of experience.

What you'll do:

• Learn and execute a Get Ready and customer orientation
• Perform unsupervised diagnostics and repairs with high quality
• Learn and install 5th wheel hitches and full wire brake controls
• Handle the customer pay side of service work
• Work on any RV unit in the service department
• Pursue specialty certifications and continuing education
• Ensure consistent repairs and maintain customer satisfaction scores
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members

What we're looking for:

• Experience in RV industry or mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or maintenance work
• 2+ years of experience in a technical field is a plus
• Personal tools
• Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs with assistance
• Work in environments with heat, cold, dust, and noise
• Flexible schedule, including Saturdays (closed Sundays)
• Neat, professional appearance
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
