Job Description

As an RV Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and inspecting RV units for proper functionality for a customer. The ideal candidate is confident working with their hands, has a background in car maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, or general contracting, and has experience in repair diagnostics and/or 2+ years of experience in a technical field or RV industry. Bish’s RV offers on-the-job training and certifications if there is less than one year of on-the-job experience.

What you'll do:

• Inspect units for customer sale
• Learn and execute a Get Ready and customer service tasks
• Perform unsupervised diagnostics: work independently on repairs with quality assurance and minimal follow-up needed
• Learn and perform installation of 5th wheel hitches and full wire brake controls
• Handle customer pay side of service work
• Work on any RV unit in the service department
• Complete specialty certifications and pursue continuing education
• Produce consistent repairs and maintain customer satisfaction scores
• Share knowledge and best practices to help team growth

What we're looking for:

• Experience in RV industry and/or mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or maintenance work
• 2+ years of experience in a technical field preferred
• Personal tools
• Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for extended periods
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs with assistance
• Ability to work in environments with heat, cold, dust, and loud noises
• Flexible schedule, including Saturdays (closed on Sundays)
• Neat, professional appearance
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
• Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the company's values
