Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Hourly) to diagnose and repair RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical components. The role emphasizes attention to detail, self-motivation, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The company offers paid training toward certifications not already held and values hands-on experience across RV service areas. A valid driver’s license is preferred and the job may involve lifting and moving parts as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade is helpful but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year of service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• RVIA certification is helpful but not required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Prolonged standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
• Exposure to heights and hazards from electrical and welding work.
• Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic tests and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor informed of work progress.
• Ensure final workmanship meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
