Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) to join our growing team. We value advanced diagnostic and repair skills for RV coach systems, generators, and body repairs, and offer training to certify those not yet certified.

A successful RV Technician will bring attention to detail, self-motivation, and breadth across mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance tasks. You’ll perform diagnostic testing, electrical/plumbing/manual maintenance, parts tracking, progress

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade field is helpful, but applicable work experience is also considered.
• Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• RVIA certification is helpful but not required.
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure final work meets quality standards with inspection by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
