About the Role

Pete's RV is seeking skilled technicians capable of diagnosing, inspecting, adjusting, repairing, or overhauling recreational vehicles, including travel trailers. Specializations may include maintaining gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, or chassis/towing systems, as well as repairing generators, appliances, and interior components.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair RV systems.
2. Perform general repairs and services across disciplines such as carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, electrical, finish work, and painting.
3. Prioritize work orders, handle urgent requests, and complete preventative maintenance and repairs.
4. Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, regulations, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical knowledge, ability to read wiring schematics.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Participate in educational workshops and safety training.
• Physical ability to perform duties, including bending, squatting, stretching, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally lifting 50-100 pounds.
• Knowledge of carpentry and light plumbing is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own tools suitable for various job types.
• Proficiency with tablet-based technology.
• Strong organizational skills with accurate record-keeping.
• Desire to work in a performance-based environment.
• Maintain an excellent Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).

Pay Scale

• $20 per hour - PDI/Service Technician Apprentice.
• $25 per hour - Service Technician Level 1 (RVTI Certified).
• $30 per hour - Service Technician Level 2 (RVTI Certified).
• $35 per hour - Service Technician Level 3 (RVTI Certified).
• $40 per hour - Service Technician Level 4 (RVTI Master Certified).
