Job summary

Kunes Auto Group in Wisconsin is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to greet customers, document vehicle concerns, and coordinate service with technicians.

You will explain service needs to customers, keep them informed during repairs, and stay up to date on products and training to promote quality workmanship and repeat business, while maintaining a high CSI rating.

Qualifications

• Customer service-focused approach and communication.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and databases.
• High school diploma or higher.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent service from receipt to vehicle release.
• Assist customers with service needs and explain required maintenance.
• Translate customer problems into actionable work orders for technicians.
• Explain services and keep customers updated during the vehicle service.
• Stay current on products, features, and training.
• Maintain a follow-up system to promote repeat and referral business.
• Ensure work meets company quality standards.
• Set goals and budgets to promote new business.
• Maintain CSI by addressing complaints promptly.
• Provide customer transportation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and offer excellent customer service from receipt to release of their vehicles
• Assist customers in servicing, repairing, and explaining each service needed
• Understand customer: Translate customer-reported problems to actionable work orders for technicians to complete
• Explain service being performed and keep the customer informed and updated throughout the service of their vehicle
• Stay up to date on new products, features, accessories and attending product training as required
• Maintain a service customer follow up system that supports repeat and referral business and contributes to customer happiness
• Ensure that automotive work provided to customers meets company quality standards
• Craft goals and objectives for yourself, which include an annual operating budget, and a marketing plan to promote new business.
• Maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately
• Customer transportation
• Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong focus on providing excellent customer service
• Basic knowledge of computer programs including word processing and database tools
• High school diploma or higher education
• Basic mathematics skills to prepare and process bills and customer payment
• Clean driving record & valid driver's license
• Driven personality, eager to improve and able to work within and support internal teams
