Job summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking an RV Sales Consultant to join our growing RV dealership team in Wisconsin. You’ll help families and outdoor enthusiasts find the right new or pre-owned RV, build relationships, and provide an outstanding buying experience.

Training and support are provided to help you succeed in a fast-paced, commission-based environment. Ideal candidates have a passion for camping and the outdoors, with strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and guide them through the RV purchasing process.

Position Summary

Kunes Auto Group is looking for an RV Sales Consultant to join our growing RV dealership team.

In this customer-focused sales role, you’ll help families, retirees, and outdoor enthusiasts find the right new or pre-owned recreational vehicle, including travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, and motorhomes. You’ll build relationships, learn each customer’s travel goals, show them the right RV, and give them a great buying experience.

Whether your background is in RV sales, automotive sales, powersports or marine sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, or another commission-based role, we provide the training and support to help you build a successful career. A passion for camping, travel, or the outdoors is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and guide them through the RV purchasing process
• Build relationships through exceptional customer service
• Learn each customer’s camping style, travel plans, family size, and tow vehicle to recommend the right RV
• Conduct RV walkthroughs and demonstrate floor plans, slide-outs, leveling systems, appliances, and onboard features
• Explain towing capacity and hitch requirements so customers choose an RV their vehicle can tow safely
• Explain financing options, extended service contracts, and ownership benefits
• Negotiate and complete RV sales professionally
• Coordinate with the service team on pre-delivery inspections and customer orientation at delivery
• Maintain customer relationships through follow-up, referrals, and repeat and trade-in business
• Use dealership CRM tools to manage customer communications and sales opportunities
• Stay current on RV inventory, manufacturer product lines, and industry trends
• Support the dealership at RV shows, open houses, and seasonal sales events as needed
• Work with sales managers, finance, parts, and service teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience

Requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in RV sales is preferred
• Candidates with experience in automotive, powersports, marine, retail, hospitality, customer service, furniture, real estate, or outside sales are encouraged to apply
• Interest in camping, RVing, or outdoor recreation is a plus
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with a competitive drive to succeed
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, seasonal sales environment
• Comfortable working outdoors on the lot in varying weather conditions
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional off-site events
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
