Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking a Food Prep Assistant to support kitchen operations at one of our RV resort locations in the United States. You will prepare items, maintain clean and sanitary spaces, and assist with dishwashing and general duties.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, ensuring presentation and quality, and collaborating with the kitchen and F&B team to meet guest orders. Some high school education and certification in safe food handling are required or pursued within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must pass Safe Food Handler Certificate within 60 days from hire
• Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation and presentation
• Good customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Ensure adequate food supplies are available and restock as needed.
• Maintain kitchen and cooking areas clean and sanitary according to Health Department rules.
• Prepare food ordered by guests using various kitchen equipment.
• Prepare condiments and move items between coolers as needed.
• Portion and wrap food, ensuring presentation and quality standards.
• Communicate with kitchen and F&B team to ensure order accuracy.
• Assist with dishwashing and sanitizing.
• Assist with kitchen setup, takedown, and cleaning duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
