Job summary

Fun Town RV in Elkhart, IN is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely move RVs around the dealership, relocate units to service bays, and stage vehicles for inspections and photography. You will operate forklifts and tractors, maintain a clean lot, and follow daily work assignments.

This full-time role requires outdoor work, weekend availability, and strong teamwork with the Service Manager. We offer competitive pay, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, a 401(k) with match, PTO, and a holiday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift and tractor operation experience required.
• Ability to work in fast-paced outdoor environments and under varied weather conditions.
• Comfortable working weekends and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely move RVs of various sizes around the dealership property, including service bays, storage areas, and PDI locations.
• Transport RVs to designated locations for cleaning, inspections, photography, and staging.
• Utilize tractors and forklifts as necessary to relocate units safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot and company property.
• Assist with staging and organizing RVs for service work based on daily work lists.
• Follow daily work assignments and complete tasks in a timely, organized manner.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and other team members to coordinate movement priorities.
• Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of outdoor workspaces.
• Operate all equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
