Job summary

Fun Town RV, LP in Tyler, TX is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely move RVs around the dealership, relocate units to service bays, photo areas, and storage lots, and assist with staging and organization. You will operate tractors and forklifts and work outdoors in varied weather, maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient lot.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift/tractor experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift and tractor operation experience required.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, outdoor environments and under varied weather conditions.
• Comfortable working weekends and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to climb ladders and steps safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely move RVs of various sizes around the dealership property, including service bays, storage areas, and PDI locations.
• Transport RVs to designated locations for cleaning, inspections, photography, and staging.
• Utilize tractors and forklifts as necessary to relocate units safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot and company property.
• Assist with staging and organizing RVs for service work based on daily work lists.
• Ensure all units are positioned properly and securely when parked or staged.
• Follow daily work assignments and complete tasks in a timely, organized manner.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and other team members to coordinate movement priorities.
• Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of outdoor workspaces.
• Operate all equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Participate in ongoing safety training and follow all workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by the Service Manager.
