Job summary

Blue Compass RV Indianapolis is seeking a Detailer to join our team. You will clean the interior and exterior of RVs, vacuum, shampoo, deodorize, and perform general detailing.

Responsibilities include cleaning windows, dusting furniture and trim, cleaning all floors, washing interiors, applying stain guard, deep cleaning appliances, and preparing units for delivery. Previous dealership experience is a plus but not required; candidates should be self-directed, able to work in a team, and pay

Qualifications

• Experience in a dealership or detail center is a plus but not required.
• Self-directed initiative with ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean RVs inside and out, vacuum, shampoo, and deodorize.
• Clean and polish windows, dust furniture and trim, clean all floors.
• Wash interiors including upholstery, apply leather cleaning products, and remove floor mats.
• Apply stain guard and perform deep clean of appliances.
• Operate cleaning equipment and hand-held detailing tools.
• Notify supervisor of areas needing repair or replacement.
• Prep new units for delivery and recondition pre-owned units.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Physical duties include being on feet all day and lifting up to 15 lbs.

Start your journey with Blue Compass RV as we are looking a Detailer to join our team. This position is responsible for cleaning the interior and/or exterior of RVs and perform general detailing activities, including, vacuuming, shampooing, and deodorizing.

COMPENSATION: $16.00-$18.00/hourly

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Clean RV’s inside and out
• Clean and polish windows
• Dusting furniture and trim
• Cleaning all floors

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Previous experience in a dealership or detail center is a plus, not required.
• Self-directed initiative, ability to apply oneself with limited supervision
• Ability to work also in a team environment
• Attention to detail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is a physically strenuous job that requires you to be on your feet all day. You will be climbing up and down stairs, be exposed to the outside weather conditions, and be required to lift up to approximately 15LBS.
