Job summary

Blue Compass RV in California is seeking a Detailer to clean the interior and exterior of RVs and perform detailing tasks, including vacuuming, shampooing, and deodorizing.

This is a physically demanding role requiring the operation of cleaning equipment and meticulous attention to detail. Prior dealership or detail center experience is a plus, with training provided to help you advance within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in detailing RVs or vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Clean RVs inside and out.
• Clean and polish windows.
• Dust furniture and trim.
• Clean all floors and upholstery.
• Wash interiors and treat leather surfaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools.
• Notify supervisor of repairs or replacements needed.
• Prep new units for delivery and recondition used ones.

Start your journey with Blue Compass RV as we are looking a Detailer to join our team. This position is responsible for cleaning the interior and/or exterior of RVs and perform general detailing activities, including, vacuuming, shampooing, and deodorizing.

COMPENSATION:

$18-$20/hourly

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Clean RV’s inside and out
• Clean and polish windows
• Dusting furniture and trim
• Cleaning all floors
• Wash interiors including the upholstery, apply leather cleaning products, removing and cleaning floor mats.
• Apply stain guard
• Deep Clean appliance
• Operate cleaning equipment, or machines
• Use a variety of hand-held tools to detail the interior of RV's
• Notify supervisor when you notice parts of a RV that require repair or replacement
• Prep new units for delivery and recondition pre-owned units
• Performs other duties as required

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Previous experience in a dealership or detail center is a plus, not required.
• Self-directed initiative, ability to apply oneself with limited supervision
• Ability to work also in a team environment
• Attention to detail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is a physically strenuous job that requires you to be on your feet all day. You will be climbing up and down stairs, be exposed to the outside weather conditions, and be required to lift up to approximately 15LBS.
