Job summary

Blue Compass RV Hickory is seeking a Detailer to professionally clean the interior and exterior of motorhomes, including vacuuming, shampooing, and deodorizing. You’ll help ensure every RV is showroom-ready for customers and assist with general detailing tasks.

Responsibilities include window polishing, dusting, floor care, upholstery cleaning, and operating cleaning equipment. A stable 5-day work week with training and development opportunities is offered within a growing nationwide RV network.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean RV interiors and exteriors to show-ready standards.
• Clean and polish windows; dust furniture and trim.
• Clean all floors and upholstery; deodorize and shampoo as needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment and hand-held detail tools.
• Prepare new units for delivery and recondition pre-owned units.
• Notify supervisor of repairs or replacements needed.
• Work across multiple RV units with attention to safety.

Start your journey with Blue Compass RV as we are looking a Detailer to join our team. This position is responsible for cleaning the interior and/or exterior of RVs and perform general detailing activities, including, vacuuming, shampooing, and deodorizing.

$16-$19/hourly

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Clean RV's inside and out
• Clean and polish windows
• Dusting furniture and trim
• Cleaning all floors
• Wash interiors including the upholstery, apply leather cleaning products, removing and cleaning floor mats.
• Apply stain guard
• Deep Clean appliance
• Operate cleaning equipment, or machines
• Use a variety of hand-held tools to detail the interior of RV's
• Notify supervisor when you notice parts of a RV that require repair or replacement
• Prep new units for delivery and recondition pre-owned units
• Performs other duties as required

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Previous experience in a dealership or detail center is a plus, not required.
• Self-directed initiative, ability to apply oneself with limited supervision
• Ability to work also in a team environment
• Attention to detail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a physically strenuous job that requires you to be on your feet all day. You will be climbing up and down stairs, be exposed to the outside weather conditions, and be required to lift up to approximately 15LBS.
