Job summary

PleasureLand RV Center in Minnesota is hiring a full-time Orientation Specialist to bridge sales and service and ensure each RV buyer has a fun, educational experience. You will guide customers through features, usage, and basic maintenance to build confidence.

You will recommend products, introduce parts and service, and foster honest, knowledgeable relationships. The role requires strong communication, organization, and flexibility to accommodate customers; work hours are 8:00am–5:00pm,

Qualifications

• Must be a people-person who finds interacting with people energizing.
• Must be patient with and have empathy for beginners and people less knowledgeable than yourself.
• Knowledge of RV systems, equipment, accessories and general operation; training provided.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers understand how to properly use and maintain their camper so they feel safe and confident when they take it out on their own.
• Recommend products that will enhance customers’ camping experiences.
• Parts and service departments’ introduction followed by commissioned parts sales.

If so, PleasureLand RV Center has the perfect opportunity for you! PleasureLand RV Center is the largest RV dealership in the Upper Midwest. We have been ensuring customer satisfaction and helping people select the right RV for their needs since 1971.

We are currently hiring for a full time Orientation Specialist. The Orientation Specialist serves as the liaison between sales and service, ensuring that every customer purchasing an RV from us has a fun and educational buying experience and is well-educated in all functions of their new RV.

Essential Job Duties:

• Ensure customers understand how to properly use and maintain their camper so they feel safe and confident when they take it out on their own.
• Recommend products that will enhance customers’ camping experiences.
• Parts and service departments’ introduction followed by commissioned parts sales.
• Build a professional relationship with customers based on honesty, integrity, and industry-leading product knowledge.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Must be a people-person who finds interacting with people energizing!
• Must be patient with and have empathy for beginners and people less knowledgeable than yourself.
• Must be knowledgeable in all operations and functions of RV systems, equipment, accessories and general operation. We will train the right applicant!
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good communication skills; both verbal and non-verbal
• Ability to problem solve.
• Self-motivated
• Must be flexible – able to adjust one’s schedule to fit the needs of customers.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Must be very organized.

This is a competitive hourly position (DOE) plus a commission on parts sold. The workdays for this position are Monday through Friday. An occasional Saturday may be required. The work hours for this position are 8:00am to 5:00pm and the work environment is both indoors and outdoors year-round.
