Job summary

RCD RV is seeking an experienced RV Body Shop Manager to lead our Pataskala, OH location. You will oversee estimating, scheduling, production, repair quality, paint/refinish, and customer communication to deliver quality work and profitability.

We want a proven leader who develops people, builds strong relationships with insurers and customers, and drives safety, efficiency, and teamwork across the body shop.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a collision or automotive body shop context.
• Knowledge of RV repair processes and estimating.
• Strong customer-service focus and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the RV Body Shop at Pataskala location.
• Oversee RV Body Repair Technicians, Painters/Refinishers, and Service Advisors.
• Maintain repair quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage workflow, scheduling, production, and productivity.
• Review estimates, repair plans, and parts/labor costs.
• Build relationships with insurers, vendors, and customers.
• Monitor financial performance, labor efficiency, and expenses.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop staff.
• Ensure quality-control inspections before delivery.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized shop environment.

RCD RV is looking for an experienced, motivated RV Body Shop Manager to lead our Body Shop operations at our Pataskala, OH location.

This is an opportunity for a strong leader who takes pride in quality workmanship, develops great people, understands the importance of customer relationships, and knows how to run a Body Shop with both performance and profitability in mind.

The Body Shop Manager will oversee the day-to-day collision and body repair operations, including estimating, scheduling, production, repair quality, paint and refinishing, technician productivity, customer communication, vendor relationships, insurance relationships, and financial performance.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the RV Body Shop
• Oversee RV Body Repair Technicians, RV Painters/Refinishers, and Body Shop Service Advisors
• Maintain high standards for repair quality, craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Manage workflow, scheduling, production, repair cycle times, and technician productivity
• Review estimates, repair plans, supplements, parts, labor, and materials
• Build strong relationships with insurance companies, adjusters, vendors, and customers
• Monitor departmental financial performance, profitability, labor efficiency, and expenses
• Recruit, train, coach, develop, and hold team members accountable
• Ensure proper quality-control inspections are completed before customer delivery
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional Body Shop environment
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, quality, and profitability
• Work collaboratively with the Service Manager and other dealership leaders

• Understands estimating, repair processes, production flow, and quality control
• Can lead technicians and support staff while holding people accountable
• Has strong customer-service and communication skills

• Takes ownership and solves problems rather than passing them along
• Leads by example and takes pride in the work their team produces
• Wants to build a high-performing team and continuously improve the operation
