Job summary

Acquire Me is seeking a Rust Systems Engineer to join a performance-critical infrastructure team at the core of our trading platform. This hands-on role emphasizes building low-latency systems with high throughput and predictable performance.

You will optimise CPU, memory and I/O, design concurrent components, and collaborate with trading teams on technically challenging problems. Previous trading experience isn’t required, but strong systems background is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Rust and C/C++.
• Strong understanding of Linux and systems programming.
• Experience with concurrency, networking and memory management.
• Comfortable reasoning about CPU performance, cache behaviour and hardware/software interaction.
• Strong computer science fundamentals.
• Experience building performance-sensitive production systems.

A tier-one HFT firm is looking to hire a Rust Systems Engineer to work on performance-critical infrastructure at the core of its trading platform.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building systems where latency, throughput and predictable performance are critical. Previous trading experience isn't required; we're particularly interested in engineers from strong systems backgrounds who enjoy working close to the hardware.
