Job summary

Kraken is hiring an experienced Software Engineer to join the Consumer team. You will design and implement robust Rust services that power trading, payments, and crypto experiences with an emphasis on reliability, performance and user impact.

You will collaborate on large-scale distributed systems, write reusable and testable code, and mentor other engineers while delivering world-class user experiences for mass-market crypto applications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and RPC protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust Rust services and libraries powering trading, payments, and crypto experiences with focus on reliability and performance.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code that scales across teams.
