Job summary

Scan Ninja Inc. seeks a backend systems engineer to develop high-performance scanner platform components in Rust and Go, focusing on reliability and secure software delivery under production constraints.

You will design ingestion pipelines for scanner telemetry, implement secure update workflows, and harden service-to-service communication with mTLS and gRPC while handling distributed workloads across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Strong Rust skills with async systems and performance focus.
• Production-ready backend development in Go.
• Understanding of CQRS and event sourcing in distributed setups.
• Experience with exactly-once delivery tradeoffs.
• Knowledge of mTLS, gRPC, NAT traversal and HTTP/2.
• Experience designing secure software update frameworks (TUF/Omaha).

• Build scanner runtime services in Rust and Go with high performance.
