Revenue3 is seeking a Senior Rust Backend Engineer to design and build core services, APIs, and adapters for a scalable, AI-native transaction workflow engine. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure security, performance, and reliability in fintech platforms.

You will tackle complex backend challenges, microservice ecosystems, and blockchain-related workflows in a flexible, remote-friendly environment.

About The Role

As a Senior Rust Backend Engineer, you will work across the platform with a high-performing engineering team. You’ll design, architect, and build core and edge services, APIs, and adapters for a scalable, event-driven transaction workflow engine built on an AI-native data model. Your contributions will be pivotal in enhancing the platform’s performance, security, and scalability, ensuring it remains at the forefront of financial technology innovation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and frontend developers, to deliver robust solutions that meet the evolving needs of the financial industry.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on backend development. Proficiency in Rust programming language is essential, along with experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. Familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and microservices is highly desirable. Candidates should also possess a good understanding of blockchain technologies, digital assets, and financial workflows. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in fintech or related sectors. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment are critical for success.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver reliable, secure, high-performance software across core and edge services, APIs, adapters, libraries, databases, cryptography, and network communications.
• Build integrations using messaging and event-driven patterns across smart contracts, blockchains, digital-asset venues, traditional financial rails, and banking systems.
• Help evolve an AI-native digital-twin model, including rich relationships, state, and financial-ontology graphs that AI systems can query, reason over, and act upon.
• Implement strong practices around AI coding assistants and agentic tooling, such as Claude Code, Copilot, and Cu company name is Revenue3.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications, develop prototypes, and implement scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies to improve platform capabilities.
