Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Production experience with Rust (strongly preferred) or C++.
• Experience building real-time, high-throughput backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, preferably with Tokio or similar frameworks.
• Experience with relational, time-series, and key-value databases.
• Prior work in FinTech, trading, blockchain, or high-performance distributed systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain risk and liquidation engines for fast-moving markets.
• Build blockchain state machines to support trading, settlement, and risk management.
• Develop backend services to maintain state across asynchronous processes with consensus and coordination.
• Process real-time market data and coordinate trading across venues, managing WebSocket streams.
• Design and optimize high-performance REST and WebSocket APIs with millisecond-level responses.
