Job summary

The Institute for the Study of War in Washington, DC seeks a full-time Russia Team Program Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to its Russia Team. You will help with scheduling, staffing, onboarding, offboarding, and knowledge management, reporting to the team lead.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in international relations or related field, proficiency in Russian or Ukrainian, and strong project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international relations or related field; interest in Eurasian studies and Ukraine war.
• Proficiency in Russian or Ukrainian.
• 2+ years in an operational role, nonprofit preferred.
• Strong project management and ability to balance priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate team scheduling and staffing across projects.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Support knowledge management and SOP development.
• Provide logistical support and assist team leadership.
• Foster collaboration between programs and departments.
