Polk County is seeking a qualified Community Coordination Specialist to collaborate with local agencies, academic partners, and regional health and social service networks to coordinate rural workforce training initiatives and develop curricula. The role involves organizing a regional conference, facilitating monthly technical assistance sessions, and conducting outreach to recruit participants.

A Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience are required, along with a valid Oregon

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, community development, social services, public administration or related field with 2 years experience in community coordination, training logistics or program management.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Access to personal automobile required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rural-centric workforce training and development initiatives; design, adapt, and implement training curricula.
• Organize a regional career and professional development conference.
• Plan and facilitate monthly technical assistance sessions for peer support, traditional health, and social service staff.
• Conduct targeted outreach to identify and recruit training participants.
