Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium seeks a Construction Coordinator to assist in planning, coordination, and management of rural sanitation projects. You will help develop designs, manage budgets, and coordinate with tribes, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality health facilities.

Minimum education includes an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management with several years of field experience.

Qualifications

• Formal education in construction management or a related field is required.
• Experience coordinating sanitation or construction projects is preferred.
• Ability to read engineering plans, contracts, and cost data.

Responsibilities

• Provide project guidance to Scattered Sites and Small Projects teams in design and construction.
• Oversee project components to meet quality and deliverables across all life cycle stages.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, contractors, and staff to manage schedules and budgets.
• Manage project documentation, progress reporting, and grant closeouts.
• Inspect work, adjust plans for conditions, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare closeout documents and ensure proper transfer of ownership.
