Job summary

SEARHC is seeking a Rural Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care across all ages in Southeast Alaska. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety and positive patient experiences.

The role emphasizes comprehensive assessments, timely documentation, medication administration, and culturally sensitive education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Alaska or another US state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS encouraged/expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care.
• Administers medications and treatments safely and per orders.
• Documents interventions and outcomes in the EHR.
• Recognizes changes in patient condition and escalates as needed.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Delivers culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
