Job summary
PCHC’s Jackman Community Health Center in Maine seeks a full-time Physician with OMT experience preferred, or an experienced NP/PA to join a unique rural primary and urgent care facility.
The provider will work independently yet collaborate closely with a dynamic team to advance an evolving outpatient program, serving a close-knit community and leading prevention, treatment and education efforts.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical school with a Maine State license to practice medicine and a valid DEA number.
- Board Certification by the American Board of Family Medicine within three years of completing a Family Medicine Residency is required.
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program.
- Current license to practice medicine as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the State of Maine.
- Current DEA license.
- Up-to-date training in Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA/Red Cross/Institute; most obtain within 2 weeks if not current at hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care and urgent care services within a rural outpatient setting.
- Lead and innovate an evolving primary care program in Jackman, ME.
- Collaborate with the Paramedicine program to support acute care 24/7.
