Job summary

Engelhard Medical Center, part of Ocracoke Health Center, Inc., is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our rural Hyde County team. Provide primary and preventive care to patients of all ages in a flexible, patient-centered environment.

We offer a supportive, team-oriented setting with collaboration among experienced physicians, no on-call requirements, and opportunities to participate in community health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in North Carolina.
• Experience in primary care or family practice preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and collaborative spirit required.
• Desire to live and work in rural Hyde County.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and preventive care to patients of all ages.
• Part-time schedule typically 2-3 days per week with clinic hours 8am–5pm.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff in a team-based setting.
• No on-call requirement and a balanced work schedule.
• Participate in community health initiatives.
