Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of NP experience is required.
• APRN license in the state of employment; RN license (or compact) and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other health care providers and follow scope of practice rules.
• Assess and manage patient health problems in hospital/clinic/outpatient settings.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per credentialing committee.
• Educate patients and families about preventive care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records per governing standards.
