Job summary

CONFEDERATED TRIBES OF THE COLVILLE RESERVATION in Omak, WA, seeks two Pharmacy Technicians to support daily pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will assist with prescription processing, medication preparation, inventory, patient services, record maintenance, and other duties to ensure safe, accurate, and timely care in a rural healthcare setting.

This role requires Washington State Pharmacy Technician certification in good standing and HIPAA/privacy training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Washington State Pharmacy Technician certification in good standing is required.
• HIPAA and Privacy training within 90 days of employment and as required throughout employment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy technician practices, prescription processing, medication preparation, pharmacy terminology, inventory procedures, and pharmacy workflow.
• Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, tribal, CTHCA, pharmacy, patient privacy, controlled substance, and medication safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive, interpret, enter, process, prepare, package, label, and document prescriptions under supervision.
• Recognize discrepancies or unusual prescriptions and refer to the pharmacist.
• Provide professional, respectful, culturally responsive customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling prescriptions, medications, patient information, and records.
• Work with pharmacists, providers, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Operate pharmacy equipment and perform repetitive tasks related to medication preparation, stocking, and inventory.
