Job summary

Southcentral Foundation is seeking a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) for a Rural Rotating Schedule role in Alaska. The position covers primary care with a focus on direct clinical care and patient panel management within SCF’s service area.

Candidates must hold Alaska PA-C licensure, maintain NCCPA certification, and have a Collaborative Agreement in place. BLS is required; additional certifications (ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, PALS) may be needed depending on specialty.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in the State of Alaska.
• Active Collaborative Agreement.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Meets all requirements to obtain associate medical staff membership and required privileges of service.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO and PALS as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care as a PCP for a defined panel of customer-owners.
• Manage care for a panel of customer-owners.
• Collaborate with other clinical staff to establish medical protocols and treatment regimens.
• Rotational schedule includes 4 weeks on/4 weeks off or 6 weeks on/4 weeks off.
