Job summary

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) Primary Care Provider (PCP) at Life House (Sutton) delivers frontline primary care on-site in Alaska, caring for a defined panel of customer-owners and coordinating with the broader clinical team.

The PA-C must maintain Alaska PA-C licensure, NCCPA certification, and required health-safety credentials, working within program guidelines to support Native health objectives.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in the State of Alaska.
• Active Collaborative Agreement.
• Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO and PALS as required for scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• The SCF PA-C PCP provides direct clinical customer-owner care in the assigned area and manages care for a panel of customer-owners.
• Works with other clinical staff to establish medical protocols and treatment regimens.
