Hire Consulting Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Miles City, MT. The position offers a day shift with a pay range of $36.41 to $54.62 per hour, plus full benefits and a relocation/sign-on bonus. This is a progressive rural hospital setting with strong community ties and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, documentation, and collaboration with the care team to maximize patient independence and community functioning.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy is required.
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association is required.
• Licensed in the State of Montana.

Responsabilidades

• Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients to maximize functioning.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records and reports.
• Design and administer treatment programs to improve strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination.
• Instruct patients in adaptive techniques and use of adaptive equipment.
• Train patients in the use of upper-extremity prosthetic devices and participate in home assessments.
• Provide therapy for neurological integration and sensor-motor remediation.
• Design and fabricate splints and adaptive equipment as prescribed.
• Administer treatment programs to traumatic brain-injured patients and enhance cognitive skills.
• Provide prevention therapy and educate families on transfers and safety techniques.
• Design home programs and guide patients or families in carrying them out.
• Participate in patient support groups with other team members.
