Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients and help patients reach maximum functioning.
• Administers evaluations and documents; consults on environmental design and adaptive equipment.
• Maintains timely patient records and reports.
• Designs and administers therapy to increase functioning; trains in ADLs and prosthetic use.
• Provides therapy for neurological integration and cognitive development.
• Designs and fabricates splints and adaptive equipment as prescribed.
• Administers treatment for traumatic brain injury; enhances judgment and organization.
• Instructs on energy conservation, safety, and transfers; educates families.
• Provides home programs and participates in patient support groups.
• Provides evaluations and develops a plan of care.
