Job summary

Documentation and goal-setting will guide care, with ongoing education for patients and families. Work is on site in Hankinson and Lidgerwood, offering varied patient contact and collaboration with primary care providers within an integrated care

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state(s) of practice.
• NBCOT certification preferred or required.
• BLS for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses clients/patients/residents and designs occupational therapy treatments.
• Conducts evaluations and provides interventions for clients with functional, cognitive or behavioral impairments.
• Documents client information for evaluation and establishes therapeutic plans.
• Provides education to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes.
• Collaborates with care teams and other professionals to coordinate care.
