Tohono O\'odham Nation is seeking a physician to diagnose, treat, and manage care for inpatients, ambulatory and emergency patients across TONHC facilities. The physician provides pediatric, adolescent, and adult services and participates in continuing education and quality improvement.

The role requires independent judgment, strong intercultural communication, and the ability to work across TONHC sites, with occasional relocation to Sells Hospital or health centers as needed, and US licensure.

Qualificações

• MD/DO from US/Canada or equivalent with ECFMG documentation.
• Internship completed and license to practice medicine.
• One to two years beyond internship or three to four years of residency.
• Must possess and maintain full, unrestricted medical license in the US.
• Background check and driving record may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care to patients in ambulatory and inpatient settings, including ER as needed.
• Interview, examine, and order diagnostic tests and examinations.
• Direct and coordinate treatment plans and referrals as necessary.
• Document observations in clinical records and communicate with patients and families.
• Deliver infants in urgent situations and arrange postpartum care.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards and policies.
• Collaborate with allied health professionals for interdisciplinary care.
