Dahl Memorial Hospital & Clinic, an independent rural healthcare organization, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care across ages and help keep daily clinic operations smooth under supervision of licensed staff.

You will prepare patients, assist with examinations, document care, and participate in immunizations and basic procedures as trained. Certification and BLS are required or obtained within set timelines; right candidate may have certification paid by the clinic.

Competenze

• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program is required.
• Current Medical Assistant certification, or completion within 12 months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support certification, or completion within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Prepare, room, and position patients for visits and procedures while providing respectful, age-appropriate care.
• Assist providers and nursing staff with routine examinations and office procedures.
• Support immunizations, venipuncture, lab draws, and other clinical tasks after competency training.
• Accurately document patient care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam and procedure rooms with proper infection prevention.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and refer clinical questions to licensed staff.
• Remain calm during emergencies and seek assistance from licensed clinical staff when needed.
