Job summary

Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) is seeking a Project Manager for the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) in Providence, RI. This full-time, in-person role supports expansion of telebehavioral health services and professional development for school districts.

The position focuses on managing grant-funded projects, budgets, contracts, compliance, monitoring, reporting, and program implementation, in collaboration with districts, providers, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal and state grant requirements.
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing grant budgets, contracts, expenditures, and financial reporting.
• Ability to monitor program performance and evaluate outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee implementation of RHTP initiatives (telebehavioral health, professional development).
• Manage grant budgets, contracts, expenditures, and reimbursement requests.
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements, funding guidelines, and procurement policies.
• Monitor expenditures, timelines, and deliverables; propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate grant applications, reviews, awards, and contract administration.
• Oversee close-out activities and final reporting.
