Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Rural Health, invites applications for a Community Development Specialist II in Wake County. The role provides technical assistance, grants monitoring, data analysis, and program development to strengthen the primary care safety net and rural health delivery.

Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's degree and four years' related experience, strong Excel/Access/Qualtrics skills, and a proven ability to work across agencies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of experience.
• Experience applying health care delivery system knowledge to program operations.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and present data using core tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Community Health Grants and Medication Assistance Program grants and assist contractors in developing outcome measures.
• Conduct contract monitoring, financial monitoring, and data analysis to evaluate performance.
• Lead preparation of quarterly performance measurement surveys and produce data spreadsheets and analyses.
• Conduct statewide needs assessments to identify expansion opportunities and guide technical support.
• Provide technical assistance and training to contractors and partners, documenting activities per guidelines.
